The classic. Measuring cups, strainers, funnels, watering cans. Munchkin, Skip Hop, Janod. Lifespan 4-5 years. Builds fine motor skills and the concept of quantity.

Bath toys: safety and hygiene (mold, EN71)
- Constant supervision: a child can drown in 5cm of water in 2 minutes. No exceptions, no "I'll just answer this."
- Non-slip mat in the tub as soon as your child sits up (6-7 months)
- Water temperature 95-99°F (never > 100°F — burn risk)
- Weekly toy cleaning: white vinegar + hot water. Toss any showing black mold inside (squeeze ducks especially).
- No non-waterproof battery toys in the bath (corrosion + chemical risk)
The soft plastic bath duck with a hole is very often filled with black mold inside. If you squeeze it and gray/black water comes out → TRASH IT. Prefer solid models or the "hole sealed with silicone" option.

What age to introduce bath toys?
Around 6-8 months, as soon as your child sits up in the tub with a bath seat. Before that, baby is in a bath cradle — not the moment for toys.
How to limit the mess in the bathroom?

Sharing a bath (siblings) — what age?
